Honorius, 393-423. Exagium Solidi (Bronze, 16x16 mm, 4.15 g, 12 h). D N HONORI-VS AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Honorius to right. Rev. EXAGIVM - SOLIDI Moneta standing front, head to left, holding scales in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. Bendall 5. MAH -. Pondera 5077. Very rare. An exceptional example, boldly struck and with an attractive dark patina. Minor deposits, otherwise, about extremely fine.
